SANTEE, Calif. -- With her performance early on this season, SDC women's tennis player Brittany Augustine has been named GSAC Women's Tennis Player of the Month announced by the conference Thursday.
Augustine has paced the Hawks to a 4-0 start including wins over then-No. 13 Arizona Christian and against Biola and Westmont, who most recently received votes in the NAIA Top 25 poll.
In her first four matches with San Diego Christian, all against GSAC opponents, Augustine didn't lose a set in singles or doubles. The junior from Carson, California, played at the No. 1 spot in both singles and doubles for all matches. The Hawks are currently ranked No. 13 in the Top 25 Poll, the highest in program history.
