Westmont Blanks Men's Soccer

EL CAJON, Calif. – The Westmont Warriors scored two goals in the first and second halves and defeated the SDC men's soccer team 4-0 on Saturday.


With the loss, the Hawks fall to 3-8 on the season and 0-4 in the GSAC. The Warriors improved to 4-2-3 overall and 3-1 in conference.


Goals in the 19th and 31st minutes by Jeremiah Anderson gave Westmont the 2-0 lead after the first 45 minutes. WC scored in the 52nd and 78th minutes to cap the scoring.


The Warriors outshot the Hawks 21-6 in the game. Martin Ochoa led the team with two shots. Zachary Satton allowed four goals but collected 11 saves.


SDC will take five days off before their next match against Menlo on Thursday.
